MACROPHONICS is a fun new alphabet game for children aged 3-5, featuring CAT and DOG the stars of the IFTA award-winning animated short film MACROPOLIS.

CAT and DOG are two physically impaired toys, who have come to life and escaped from the factory production line. They explore the world around them by reinterpreting everyday objects in fun and exciting ways.

MACROPHONICS now gives you the chance to interact with CAT and DOG by watching them play with a host of interesting items they have found on their travels around the big city.

One for each letter of the alphabet, like C for Cupcake, a R for Roller Skate and a Q for Quilt. Tap the screen to watch CAT and DOG play with the items and then tap the screen to learn what the word sounds like and how the phonics of the letter sound. MACROPHONICS is great way to teach your kids while having fun at the same time.

Commissioned by the Unlimited programme for the London 2012 Festival and Cultural Olympiad, and funded by the Arts Council, MACROPOLIS is a animated short film which was shot on the streets of Belfast using a unique blend of stop motion animation, time lapse photography and CGi. The film won the Best Animation award at the 2013 Irish Film and Television Awards and has been selected for over 20 other international festivals including the New York Children’s Festival, Clermont Ferrand, Montreal International Animation Festival and Flickerfest in Australia.
